After the ugly brawl between Shah Rukh and Farah Khan's director husband Shirish Kunder at Agneepath success bash, now the Nawab of Pataudi has hit the headlines for punching a man. A case has been registered against the 41-year-old star. Here's a look at Bollywood's notorious stars who have served time behind the bars.

The Agent Vinod star got into a scuffle with a person called Iqbal Sharma on Tuesday. The incident took place at a five star hotel in Mumbai, where Saif was having dinner with Kareena Kapoor and some other friends. Reportedly, Sharma complained that Saif and his friends were too loud, soon the scene got ugly and apparently the suave Khan punched Iqbal's face. A case has been registered against the 41-year-old star and he has been booked under section 325 of IPC (Indian Penal Code). However, this is not Saif's first tryst with such incidents. In 2008, the actor was booked for assaulting a photojournalist. However, he later apologised for his deeds and the case was resolved amicably. 


Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja was sentenced to seven years in prison for raping his maid in a case that shocked the world's largest film industry. He was arrested on charges of rape, criminal intimidation and wrongful confinement of his maid, who is now 20 years old.


Sanjay Dutt got arrested under TADA Act in 1993 for illegal possession of arms. He had to spent more than a year in jail after finding guilty. A file photo shows policemen escort the actor as he comes out of TADA court in Mumbai.


Bollywood's 'bad boy' Salman Khan was sentenced to five-years in prison for poaching an endangered gazelle. He was set free on the payment of a personal bond of 200,000 rupees and two bail bonds of 100,000 rupees.


Fardeen Khan was arrested in 2001 for buying cocaine from a drug dealer in Mumbai. The actor then claimed he had consumed less than a gram.


Bollywood starlet and a companion of gangster Abu Salem, Monica Bedi was convicted in a fake passport case. Later she was aquitted for lack of evidence.


Bollywood heartthrob John Abraham too got 15 days' jail for rash driving that resulted in an accident injuring two men when his motorcycle hit a cyclist in April, 2006.



Hotelier Farhan Azmi, Ayesha Takia's husband was detained by the Dubai police in 2003 on alleged drug charges, and was later released.
